- A special horse riding experience for our youngest adventurers!
- Get to know our Icelandic horses and enjoy a little tour around our stables before heading out for a relaxed ride in the beautiful Lapland surroundings.
- With two experienced guides accompanying the group, we keep the experience small, personal and safe.
- After the ride, we gather around the fire in our traditional Kota to warm up, relax and enjoy the cosy Lapland atmosphere.
- In winter, the horses are ridden at walk only.

About your booking
Booking is easy. You can book by email, or by phone. You will always receive a confirmation by email.
Payment is required in advance unless we’ve agreed on something else. You’ll receive payment instructions after you book.
Yes.
You can cancel for free up to 7 days before your scheduled tour.
If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour, we charge 50% of the price.
If you cancel within 48 hours, or don’t show up, we charge 100%.
If we have to cancel (for example, due to bad weather or if a horse or guide is sick), you will receive a full refund.
No. Participation is at your own risk. We recommend that you have valid travel and/or accident insurance that covers horse riding.
We take safety very seriously. Our guide will give safety instructions before the ride — following these is mandatory.
We reserve the right to deny participation if we believe it's unsafe (for example, due to alcohol use or reckless behavior).

frequently asked questions
No experience is required for our day rides — they’re suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. We do provide a safety briefing.
Riders aged 13 and older can join our morning and afternoon rides.
Children aged 7 to 12 can join our Little Riders – A Lapland Horse Adventure, accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
Yes, the maximum rider weight is 85 kg (187 lbs). This is for the safety and comfort of both rider and horse.
We keep our tours small and personal, with the maximum group size depending on the experience.
Our tours are guided in both Dutch and English.
Please dress warmly in layers and wear weather-appropriate, sturdy shoes or boots — especially for evening rides, when temperatures can drop significantly. Don't forget to bring warm gloves!
Your safety and comfort are our priority. We provide the following gear for all our rides:
Riding helmet
Polar suit / snow suit (for warmth in cold weather)
Balaclava (worn under the helmet for extra warmth and hygiene)
You're welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer, but we make sure you're fully equipped to enjoy the ride safely and comfortably — even in Arctic conditions. Don't forget to bring warm gloves!
